Lanka Bandara

Lanka joined Comptons Solicitors LLP in 2016.

Lanka has been specialising in private client law since 2013 and is also a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). STEP is the professional body for practitioners in the field of trusts, estates, wills and private client related issues. Full members of STEP are the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates.

Lanka qualified as a Barrister in England in 2003 and as an attorney-at-law in Sri Lanka in 2005. Thereafter Lanka became an English Solicitor through the Qualified Transfer Scheme and was admitted as a Solicitor on 1 April 2016.

Lanka deals with all aspects of private client matters including:

Inheritance Tax planning and Estate planning
Probate and Administration of Estates
Creation and Administration of Trusts
Preparing Wills
Court of Protection applications
Lasting Powers of Attorneys

Lanka was made an Associate Partner on 1 May 2019.
