Herman qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and joined Comptons Solicitors LLP as an Associate Partner in 2025 as the Head of Private Client Department. Prior to joining Comptons, Herman worked in the West End.
Herman specialises in all areas of private client work including Wills, Estate Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Estate Administration and Trust.
Herman is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the global network of trust and estate professionals. Herman is a full member of the Lifetime Lawyers Association, a national association of independent lawyers who specialises in advising older and vulnerable clients. Herman completed the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) course, and he is also a Dementia Friend.
